Passionate photographer

I started getting into photography around 1980. While training as a mechanical draftsman, I was able to gain insight into the craft of photography at the same time.

The company's internal microscopy department at the time fascinated me in this regard. I started with a Mamyia NC 1000s, Canon A1, Canon T90, and later spent a long time with a Nikon F3.

In the 1990s, I treated myself to a Leica M6 and a Linhof Master-Technika 4x5" large format camera.

For digital photography, I returned to the Canon and Nikon lines (also for cost reasons). However,
since 2022, I have been hooked again and have stocked up on a Leica M11 and a few matching lenses.
