Deserted, tranquil, but also stormy landscapes, the roaring sea, or special lighting conditions. That's what appeals to me about landscapes.
Whether the theme is water, wind, earth, or fire, it doesn't matter.
It just has to be compatible with my personal state of mind.
Sit down and take your time, then try to compose the picture.
This requires inner peace.
Practically impossible for me at home, but all the more so when travelling.
